This photo was taken about five minutes before yesterdays, only this one has taken a heavy hit of post processing. I took lots of shots of this structure but none looked right. I was just tinkering with photoshop and this began to evolve.

I like the muted tones and the feeling fit the scene better. I think I experiment a bit more in the future with this. I would have liked some big menacing clouds rolling past, but you can't have it all.

Great perspective to this shot.. The tones from the processing work really well here..posted by Ian on August 1, 2006 11:48AM

Yeah, almost Chromasia green, and I know you like him (but don't we all) :) I love your photoblog design, but knowing your profession, I'm not surprised. I also like the fact that you shoot photos this good with a resonably priced camera. Way to go or "rape and plunder" in my case... ;)posted by [ PIXEL VIKING ] on August 1, 2006 12:54PM
Very cool composition..the perspective works so well and i love the mirroring of the metalic fence in the buildings. Nice one. Philposted by [terrorkitten] on August 1, 2006 2:18PM
The color is excellent, as well as the composition.

I just love the post processing on this. I often shoot stuff and see it desaturated and with a reduced colour palette in my minds eye. Excellent shotposted by Laurence Winram on August 1, 2006 10:24PM
Now that is ominous...Great shot.posted by kwasi on August 2, 2006 12:08AM
I'm lovin' the color of this photo and how well it meshes with all the metal. Very nice.posted by Dennis Rogers on August 2, 2006 2:47AM
Cheers for all the comments. I have to say Chromasia is the single biggest reason I began this photoblog. Truely inspiring.posted by kerry on August 2, 2006 10:35AM
I like this shot a lot. Very good idea to put it behind the fence even if you had no other choice. Very communicative this way.posted by Bela Kozma on August 26, 2006 12:24AM
